The econometric model of the Slovak Republic

The econometric model of the Slovak Republic has been created in cooperation with the World Bank within the Public finance management reform project in order to support the analytical activities of the Ministry of Finance by creating consistent short-term and medium-term forecasts of the Slovak economy, analyzing the risks of the economic development with the impact on the budget and creating relevant simulations. The structure of the econometric model of the Slovak Republic is based on the revenue-expenditure method with the emphasis on the supply side of the economy. The model is used in the Institute for Financial Policy as an essential tool of the economic analysis.
